The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club Racing activities have grown from humble beginnings in 1998 to a very well supported full season of race meetings in the current year.
The aims of JEC Racing are to:
- Organise races, sprints & hillclimbs to assist Members to compete, cheaply, in ALL types of Jaguars.
- Run friendly race series' where drivers help each other and are accessible to JEC Member spectators.
- Enable Members to use their road cars at 'trackdays' in strictly controlled conditions with expert tuition.
- Provide driver tuition, so members can get the best from their Jaguar.
- Give JEC Members the opportunity to support Jaguars in competition.
- Provide racing Jaguars for static shows ( Northern, Southern & Midland days)
The most recent event was a track day at Mallory Park which gave the opportunity for seasoned race participants to further hone their cars and their skills through to the uniniated having the opportunity to try their hand on a race circuit with plenty of friendly advice available and also the opportunity to have expert tuition in their own car or as a passenger in one of the race cars.
The weather stayed fine and a full day of track activity was enjoyed by everyone. If this could be of interest to you then look out for further opportunities through the link to the JEC Racing section
